Jay Noffsinger

Owner - Nashville, Murfreesboro, Crossville

Jay Noffsinger is the owner of Premier Athletics locations in Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Crossville. A former Marine Corps Combat Engineer, he completed both basic training and advanced instruction in his field, building a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and operational excellence. He later pursued business studies at Middle Tennessee State University, complementing his military background with formal education in business management and administration.


A highly effective leader and motivator, Jay has guided teams to multiple national championships across various programs. He is deeply committed to creating family-centered training environments that develop athletes in both performance and character. Through his leadership, Premier Athletics emphasizes not only athletic excellence, but also the cultivation of life skills that empower individuals of all ages to succeed both on and off the mat.

Angela Noffsinger

Owner - Nashville, Murfreesboro, Crossville

Angela Noffsinger is co-owner of the Middle Tennessee locations and brings a lifelong passion for cheerleading and athlete development. A former All Star athlete at Premier Athletics, she made history as the program’s first athlete to earn a position on the nationally ranked University of Kentucky cheerleading team.


She perused a degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, where she served as a dedicated member of the prestigious Varsity Blue Squad for four years. During her collegiate career, she distinguished herself as a three-time UCA College National Champion and one-time national runner-up.


Angela is committed to cultivating a culture of continuous growth. She takes great pride in the development of Premier Athletics athletes, supporting their growth not only in skill, but also in character and leadership. Her focus is on creating an environment built on perseverance, discipline, and confidence, values that carry well beyond the sport and into every area of life.

Hayley "Shine" Stevens

Assistant Gym Manager/Team Instructor

Hayley “Shine” Stevens began her cheerleading journey at Premier Athletics Nashville at a remarkably young age. Over the course of 17 years, she developed her skills as an All Star athlete while also cheering for her school. Following high school, she continued her career with the nationally recognized University of Louisville cheerleading program, where she competed on both the Small Coed and All-Girl teams. During her time there, she helped secure an impressive four consecutive NCA Collegiate National Championships.


In addition to her collegiate success, Shine was a member of GymTyme All Stars, where her team captured three consecutive titles at The Cheerleading Worlds.



Since 2017, Shine has been a dedicated coach at Premier Athletics and now serves as the Assistant Manager of the Nashville location. She holds certifications in First Aid, CPR, and concussion training, and is also a certified instructor through USASF and USA Cheer.

Kaleb Alewine

Team Instructor/Tumble Zone Instructor

Kaleb has been involved in the cheer industry since 2015. He trained and competed with Top Gun All Stars Miami, where he was a member of GLOC 6 and Double O. Following his time at Top Gun, he continued his career with Stingray All Stars Marietta, competing on Electric for two seasons.


Throughout his cheerleading career, he has earned multiple prestigious titles, including two World Championships, two NCA Championships, and five CHEERSPORT Championships, among others. After completing his final season on Electric, he relocated to Nashville, TN.


Kaleb is committed to supporting each athlete he works with and strives to instill confidence in their ability to achieve anything they set their minds to. He takes great pride in working with athletes and witnessing their growth both on and off the mat. He is certified in CPR and First Aid, has completed concussion training, and is also a certified instructor through USASF and USA Cheer.

Mark Wilson

All Star Supervisor/Team Instructor

Coach Mark has been immersed in the world of cheerleading since 2013, beginning his journey in Illinois as both a high school and All-Star athlete with Ace Athletics. During his time there, he achieved significant success, earning multiple NCA National Championships and two Summit titles. He later continued competing at an elite level with GymTyme Illinois, where he was a member of Snap, Twist, and Fever, further developing his skills and experience.


Mark went on to attend Austin Peay State University, where he earned a degree in Marketing while continuing to pursue his passion for cheerleading. He later competed at Premier Athletics on two Open teams, Chaos and Bombsquad, bringing his talent, dedication, and competitive drive to the program.



Now a dedicated coach at Premier Athletics, Mark is passionate about helping athletes grow, push their limits, and reach their full potential. With a strong background in the sport and a firsthand understanding of what it takes to succeed, he focuses on building confidence, resilience, and a genuine love for cheerleading in every athlete he works with.

Emily Acosta

Team Instructor/Tumble Zone Instructor

Emily brings 10 years of coaching experience. She began coaching at age 16 as a part-time job after school and quickly fell in love with coaching the sport of cheerleading. Over the years, she has coached across all programs including Wilco, Hype, All Star, School Teams, and Tumble Zone classes, gaining comprehensive experience across all levels.


Emily is originally from Alabama and cheered competitively throughout high school at James Clemens High School. She continued her cheer career at Wallace State.


Emily is committed to educating, mentoring, and supporting the athletes at Premier Athletics. She holds certifications as a USASF and USA Cheer instructor, along with CPR, First Aid, and concussion training certifications.

Brittany Head Woodard

Team Instructor

Brittany has been an integral part of Premier Athletics since its early years, first as an athlete and now as a coach. From elementary through high school, she excelled in the All Star program while also dedicating eleven years to competitive dance, building a strong foundation in performance, technique, and discipline.


After graduation, Brittany continued her athletic career at the University of Louisville, where she cheered for four years and contributed to the program’s success, earning three NCA Collegiate National Championship titles.


Today, Brittany brings a well-rounded and experienced perspective to her coaching, coaching in the All Star and School Squad programs. Her background allows her to effectively develop athletes in skill, performance, and confidence. In addition to her coaching expertise, she is a certified massage therapist and holds certifications as a USASF and USA Cheer instructor, along with CPR, First Aid, and concussion training certifications.

Morgan Dauscha

Team Instructor

Since joining Premier Athletics in 2018, Morgan has become a dedicated and impactful coach, now entering her 8th season with the Wilco program. She is passionate about fostering athlete confidence, personal growth, and a positive team culture, while emphasizing strong fundamentals and safe, effective technique.

Her coaching philosophy centers on hard work, accountability, and creating an environment where athletes can have fun while reaching their full potential. She finds the greatest joy in watching athletes grow both on and off the mat, especially in those rewarding moments when they successfully achieve skills they’ve worked tirelessly to master.

Outside of the gym, Morgan works in business operations within the dental field and is a proud mom to twins, Mila and Atlas. Morgan is certified in CPR and First Aid, has completed concussion training, and is also a certified instructor through USASF and USA Cheer.

Calvin Hassell

Wilco Program Supervisor/Team Instructor

Calvin Hassell has been a vital part of Premier Athletics since 2011, serving as a dedicated and impactful coach. A former All Star and high school cheerleader, Calvin brings a wealth of experience in both All Star and school competition cheerleading. Throughout his coaching career, he has led numerous teams to national championships, reflecting his strong leadership and commitment to athlete success.


Known for his high-energy and engaging coaching style, Calvin creates a positive and motivating environment where athletes are encouraged to push their limits and reach their full potential. His passion for the sport is evident in the way he inspires athletes to achieve their goals.


Calvin currently serves as the Wilco Program Director. He is certified in CPR and First Aid, has completed concussion training, and is also a certified instructor through USASF and USA Cheer.

Madelon Russell

Team Instructor/Tumble Zone Instructor

With 10 years of cheerleading experience in Brandon, Mississippi, Madelon built a strong competitive foundation, earning three MSHAA State Championship titles and a National Championship title at NCA. She continued her involvement in the sport as a member of UCA Staff for three years, where she trained athletes across the country and shared her passion for cheerleading. Now living in Nashville, she brings that same energy and dedication into the classroom as a teacher and into the gym at Premier Athletics, inspiring and mentoring the next generation both academically and athletically.

Faith Wilson

Team Instructor/Tumble Zone Instructor

Faith brings a wealth of experience to the program, with a background in all-star, high school, and collegiate cheerleading. As a former all-star and college cheerleader, she understands the dedication and passion the sport requires and finds nothing more rewarding than helping athletes grow into strong, confident individuals while sharing in the same love for cheer that has shaped her own journey.


Faith graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Business Economics and went on to earn her Master of Business Administration. She combines her educational background with her athletic experience to provide a well-rounded and impactful coaching approach.


Faith is deeply passionate about athlete development, focusing not only on skill progression and performance, but also on building confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for the sport.

Lowell Tapp

Onboarding Specialist/Tumble Zone Instructor

Lowell “Tapp” has been involved in cheerleading in multiple capacities since 2008 and has coached nationally successful All Star teams. He is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University, where he majored in Computer Management and was a five-year member of their competitive cheerleading squad.


Tapp is a USASF Certified Instructor and holds certifications in CPR, First Aid, and concussion training. He firmly believes that successful athletes are built on a foundation of strong work ethic, discipline, and dedication. His areas of expertise include co-ed stunting and tumbling.


Tapp also serves as the onboarding specialist for the gym, ensuring all new employees are well-educated, informed, and welcomed, while helping create a smooth and supportive transition into the Premier Athletics team.

Lexi Riedling

Team Instructor/Tumble Zone Instructor

With 8 years of coaching experience, Lexi brings passion, energy, and a love for the sport to every practice. She coaches across the All-Star, WILCO, and school competition programs, and also leads tumbling classes where she emphasizes strong fundamentals, proper technique, and athlete confidence.


Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, this is her second year at Premier Athletics. She is known for her positive attitude, dedication to her athletes, and ability to create a fun, high-energy environment while pushing athletes to reach their full potential.


She is certified in CPR and First Aid, has completed concussion training, and is also a certified instructor through USASF and USA Cheer.

Gracey Ellis

Team Instructor/Tumble Zone Instructor

Gracey began her cheerleading journey at Premier Athletics at a young age, dedicating 12 years to the All Star program and finishing her career as a Super Senior. In addition to her All Star experience, she was an accomplished member of the School Program, cheering for both Woodland Middle School and Ravenwood High School.

Now a dedicated coach, Gracey works with athletes across all programs including Competition Rec, All Stars, and the Tumble Zone. She is passionate about developing well-rounded athletes, focusing not only on skill progression but also on building confidence, character, and resilience.

Gracey is committed to creating a positive and empowering environment where every athlete feels seen, supported, and inspired. Her goal is to instill in her athletes the same passion and love for cheerleading that has shaped her own journey.


Gracey is a certified instructor through USASF and USA Cheer. Outside of cheerleading, Gracey works full-time in Accounts Receivable.

Amy McCloud

Front Office Manager

Amy McCloud serves as the Office Manager at Premier Athletics Nashville. Her journey with Premier Athletics began as a parent, with her twin daughters participating in both the All Star and school cheer programs. Both went on to continue their cheerleading careers at the collegiate level.


Known for her warmth and organizational skills, Amy is always ready to assist families and athletes, ensuring a welcoming and supportive experience for everyone who walks through the doors.
